Here's the second business that Mel Meibers spoke with that is doing very well and even expanding! I'll let Mel tell you the details.

"EDU Sports x2" near Asheville, NC has been in business approximately 12 years and this year has been the best in sales. Owner Donnie Hilzendager is now getting ready to open the Sporting Goods part of the business in the next week or two. The Sporting Goods store is located next door. It will not be a fully stocked typical Sporting Goods store but one that will service his increasing team business. Donnie’s production equipment consists of fully automated screen printing equipment, multi-head embroidery equipment, vinyl cutters and several Hotronix heat presses. They order pre-printed numbers from Transfer Express. He cuts all of his poly-twill and cad materials with his Roland GX-24 cutter. He also does a great job with multi-media such as poly-twill and film combinations. Last week a GSSA Sales Rep stopped to see him. Bruce Weiandt stopped by to show Donnie the latest products from the GroupeSTAHL companies and Donnie is considering adding a VersaCAMM to his equipment line up. Donnie contributes the increase in sales to his ability to produce high quality printing and delivering on time. They are getting ready to re-do all of the signage to reflect the recent change of the name of their business to EDU Sports x2.
